How to play Classic

1. Numbers appear on the grid. Take as long as you like to memorize where they are.
2. Tap 1 and the rest turn into blank squares.
3. Tap the squares in order: 2, 3, 4... Each cleared round adds a number.
4. You have 3 strikes. Your score is the most numbers you remembered.

Who is Ayumu?

In a famous 2007 study, researchers at Kyoto University flashed five numbers on a touchscreen for as little as 210 milliseconds, then covered them with blank squares. A young chimpanzee named Ayumu could still tap where they had been, in order, outperforming the university students tested alongside him. Later research found that people can close the gap with practice. That's what this game is for.
